Still trying to get the hang of this

So it seems that I can only work on this when Isaac naps. (Because that is all the time during the day that he will let me).


This blog is supposed to be a simple thing  - so why is it taking me so long to figure out? I will figure all of this blogging stuff  out eventually. I figured out how to do myspace for crying out loud (but I like facebook so much better).


Any who, I know that I need to do a lot on here. Mostly post pictures  and updates of the kids and what they are up to. I am so bad about e-mailing updates/pictures. My sister-in-law Karina is great at that! Don't know when she finds the time either.


But I also want this to be a place about me and what I am interested in and what I am doing. Maybe I should do posts first thing in the morning (before I jump on facebook to check on my farm's progress or to feed my fish) - you know when my mind is supposed to be the freshest.

Welcome, this is a long time coming

I have wanted to do a blog for a long, long time.

I wanted to start a blog when Caitlynn started school.

I wanted to start a blog when Chris and I were married.

I wanted to start a blog when Everett was a baby.

I wanted to start a blog when I was pregnant with Isaac.


But the time flew by and now Caitlynn is 13 and will be in high school next year, Everett is now 7 years old and is reading big chapter books, and Isaac is 6 months and scooting around all over the floor.

At least I have started, I of course have run out of time for today to finish learning this new endeavor. It is now time to start dinner and take EC to scouts. I of course am skipping my Zumba class tonight to go to the scout meeting (I am bummed about this but I can't be in places at once).
